This chime unit and extender will convert a traditional wired bell push only to work with Doorbell world wireless chime units wireless. Don't throw away that prized existing traditional wired bell push away! Use this extender to send a wirefree signal around your property to a single or many bells and chimes. The Extender is connected to the 2 wires coming from the bell push. It is not designed to be added into an existing wired doorbell setup with a wired chime unit. They can be located near the door or anywhere else in the property where existing bell wires reach. Use this extender if you wish to use a conventional bell push which suits the features of your house.

Batteries 
The converter can be used indoor with batteries A. The converter can be wired directly to your bell push by using 2-wire doorbell cable. The converter comes with an A23 12v type battery to make sure you can use it directly. The battery would need to be changed when flat after a couple of years general use.

Easy to connect
Connect the converter to any wired bell push only and then pair to one of the wireless Doorbell World door chime units to be able to hear the doorbell ringing in multiple rooms at home or even in your garden. The wires from the converter can be used to connect to your existing bell push. They are not designed to be added into your existing wired doorbell setup with wired chime unit. They only work with the Doorbell World wireless chime units.
