How to purchase
To make a purchase, simply find the product you want and click on the buy button. When you have finished making your selection click on the cart button in the menu bar and then the checkout button. This will take you to a secure part of the site where you can finalise your details.
Please note that there are delivery charges dependent on order value which are shown on the site.
Payment over the Internet
Our e-commerce shop is hosted by shopify.co.uk, on a secure part of the server site. Shopify.co.uk are not a contracting partner to any sale from DoorbellWorld. All credit card transactions completed on the web site are securely handled by Sage Pay. 4th Floor, 100 Grays Inn Road, London, WC1X 8AL tel : 0845 111 44 55. They are a specialist secure on-line payment company. For more info click here www.sagepay.com. Under this system, we at DoorbellWorld do not see your credit card details.
Other ways to pay
Customers not wishing to pay over the Internet (which requires payment by credit or debit card), may pay
by credit or debit card over the telephone to DoorbellWorld
by cheque directly to Sabrebond Ltd, T/A DoorbellWorld
Cheques should be payable to Sabrebond Ltd, for the total amount including any postage, packing and VAT and sent with your order. To find the total amount payable go through the process of buying on-line, then cancel at the very last stage when you are asked for your credit card details.
Goods will be dispatched when the cheque has been cleared. Please note that this will take at least 7 days.
Credit card payment and validation
There is no charge made to a customer for payment by a credit, PayPal or debit card.
For orders above certain levels we may contact you for further information as a security measure to protect both card holders and ourselves.
All credit/debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your card does not, for any reason, authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non delivery.
Non acceptance of orders
Orders placed over the Internet will receive an automatic acknowledgement by email. This does not imply acceptance of the order. Orders placed over the telephone will be verbally acknowledged but this also does not imply acceptance of the order.
Non acceptance of an order may be a result of one of the following:
- The product you ordered being unavailable
- Our inability to obtain authorisation or additional credit card validation for your payment
- The identification of a pricing or product description error
- Our inability to provide a satisfactory level of after sales service due to the customer’s geographical location
Security of your information
DoorbellWorld does not maintain a database of credit card information. When you have made a purchase we will retain your name, address, etc in order to keep you up to date with future developments. We will treat your information as confidential, but if you do not wish us to retain your details please advise us at the time and we will respect your wishes. We will not pass on your details to any third party, other than the supplier where goods are dispatched directly from the factory, eg Daitem Door Entry systems, or our professional advisors, such as accountants.
