Byron Doorbell Bell Pushes (Push Buttons)
Byron Wired & Wireless Bell Pushes
Byron Doorbell Pushes are available in both wireless and wired formats, offering options for quick installation or permanent fixed setups.
Wireless Byron pushes, commonly within the DBY and BY series, are typically battery-powered (e.g., CR2032 or 6LR61) or use kinetic energy, removing the need for batteries entirely. These models are generally IP44 weather-resistant, offer operating ranges of approximately 60–150 m, and often include LED confirmation lights or glow-in-the-dark buttons for visibility. Installation is usually non-invasive, using adhesive mounting or simple fixings, with designs ranging from minimalist plastic housings to specialist finishes such as oak plinth mounts.
Wired Byron pushes use a 2-wire connection to low-voltage transformers or compatible chime units and are typically more robust, with options in plastic or metal finishes including brass, chrome, and brushed nickel. Styles vary between traditional rectangular door frame mounted pushes and more period focused, flush fitting, circular pushes. Many include illuminated buttons for night-time use, and some models support conversion for wireless chime compatibility via adapters.
