'Long Range' equates to any chime unit (receiver) with a range of at least 300 metres. However, most products in our long range collection operate well over this range - with some going up to 1400 metres and many around 500 metres. Grothe and Zamel are specialists in this area and very popular options. To give this context, most wireless doorbells operate with a range in and around 100 to 200 metres.

Signal strength naturally reduces with every wall encountered, particularly where thick masonry or metal elements like UPVC door frames are present. Long-range doorbells are specifically engineered to maintain reliable performance in these more demanding environments and where extended distances exist between the bell push and the chime location.
